Ever so slightly off topic: I remember this being discussed around here earlier, but I misplaced my brain and didn't quite catch most of it ...can somebody point me in the direction of an image --> sound converter thing to play with? Either windows or mac is fine with me, but preferably for NT. Thanks in advance for the help, y'all. C.M.

There is a program called MetaSynth for the macintosh. Part of it is a sonogram editor, into which you can import an image, and play or process it. The vertical axis corresponds to frequency, and the horizontal to time, while pixel intensity is mapped to.. er.. amplitude (at that frequency and time).
