one idm-er asked about ampoule: ampoule was one of the early iterations of diskono. perhaps stuart pressed up some white labels of the first release before embarking on diskono. at any rate, to my knowledge he ditched the name before officially putting out a record, so you might very well have a nice little collectible on your hands there. maybe stuart can shed some light...? and then there's this, from lance:

The thing is, the mystery disc isnt a white label, its actually got some artwork that is blue and white (a swirly mess of blue and white) . Its also in a simple brown cardboard sleeve (SIMPLE, not like MAS intricate die cuts) with a normal label-hole in the center..It was priced as an import , here is the COMPLETE info etched in the Runout: ------------------------------------- AMPOULE AMP001 Lucky & Easy (artist???) A side: 1 Bully Summer 2 Night Rainbows B side: 1 Kiss it Better 2 Wigged (and then) recorded @ Pingu's Igloo ------------------------------------- My Diskono's have not come in yet, so I cannot see if they are similar, but Im guessing this AMPOULE record is too melodic in a VERY Black Dog-like way to be related to Diskono. Id really like to know who is responsible for this great record.. Easily one of my fav IDM (maybe IDMish) records in a while I must find the guilty party! ernie Ernesto Ikerd, (817) 763-4795 Company Graphics, Dept 17, MZ-1156 Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems Fort Worth, Texas
