Mixing It is on its summer holidays just now. It will return in the Autumn - usually the start of October sometime. It's normal broadcast time is Mondays at 2245. I believe Radio 3's frequency is 92.1 in the FM. Do check it out when it returns. The quality of the music is usually very high - but it is a crossover show so do expect not to like some of the music some of the time. "Mixing It" is off-air during the proms season (seems like a fair swap ... ahem) ... but will be returning soon (autumn?) ... BBC Radio 3 is on 90-93FM ... Hi, For those that are in the UK and are interested, Mixing It returns on Monday night (14/9/98) at 2245 on Radio 3 (90.2 - 92.4 FM). Here is what the Radio Times has to say about the programme : <<<<< Mark Russell and Robert Sandall present a mix of musical styles and influences. They launch the new series from the underground haunts of Vienna, where the Phonotaktik festival of experimental music is now underway. They talk to DJ and promoter Peter Rehberg, saxophonist and composer Max Nagl and producer Curd Duca. Mathias Ruegg talks about his 21 years as director of the pioneering Vienna Art Orchestra. And music comes from Die Knodel, EPY and DJ duo Kruder and Dorfmeister.
