I believe there's a Two Lone Swordsman ep out from about last christmas that had a normal mix on one side and on on the other where the grooves went all over the place. It would remix itself by skipping around alot, yet with a minimum of skipping noise. It might have been a two lone swordsman remix of someone else though... anyone recall this??? q

sounds like it have been the tls remix of ganger. it was supposed to be a one-sided 12" with a spiral etched in the other side, but there was also a music groove as well pressed on the same side as the etching. the etched spiral was broader and further apart than the music track, travelling in the same direction and of course crossing over the music groove. its pretty demented, playing a snatch of music then shooting along the etch for a while to come off at another section of the music track. not much skipping noise but the etch certainly makes a distinctive noise of its own. can't say i've played it too much, it looks like a stylus killer. oblockgrooves - what about noodles "death of cool" 4 locks - traffic (listened to it for about 3 mins before i realised, bastards) and belching among them. "monomishe" (i stand to be corrected on the spelling) by zoviet france was pretty cool in the 'is that a lock groove?' stakes (traffic noise again, its amazing how many times you can be wrong). i'd also recommend that one to whoever was asking about ambient similar to "sawII". -martin

Who ever said the track path couldn't cross over? If it's at great enough of an angle... I recall seing a noise 7" that had the grooves overlapping all over the place, in/out left/right. It sort of made you sea-sick to watch it. But there was very little popping involved as the grooves crossed over each other.
