WE ARE REASONABLE PEOPLE:various artists:warp:CD what's the lowdown on this? i wanted it, put it off, and now i've heard that it's possibly not worth getting. afx/sqp track is a letdown? various artist "8, 9" mixes on fat cat by autechre, funkst?rung, monolake, vainqueur coming out when? MASK3&4 i guess 4 came out 1st and sold out quick.. is 3 coming out and does anyone plan on doing mp3's or whatever if they are indeed unavailable? if available tell me where! thanks. jega ix is ska009? CHINESE WHISPERS:various artists:suburbs of hell:CD:$16.99 BC$-1 haven't heard anything about it really.. muziq mix any good? ultramarine, freeform, etc.. awesome list of artists, but did they all do 1/2 effort? JASON BUCKLE:flying lo-fi:rephlex:CD:$19.99 is this johnny rubber from that warp ep and what's it like? other rephlex, like global goon maybe? I-F:f*cking consumer:disko b:CD:$15.99 heard the name a lot, know anywhere with ra samples? regular electro is the impression i get from reading about it.. David Kristian's Cricklewood on Alien8. ** Soon available: Cricklewood remixes, with quite an amazing bunch of remixers (Skam artists, Aube, Farmers Manual...and many others) when? dj krush + japanese trumpeter worth the extreme import $$? dot stuff.. like argonort: mingus 12"? i have tkwsd and endlessnessism & they are decent? what else recommended? thanks for taking the time to read all these.. == cg _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? Hmmm...don't have the album in front of me, but I believe it was titled after the remixed Björk song which was "All is full of love...". The Björk remix is good if you like her voice. It's crunchy beats with etherial synth noises behind it, and her voice. Nothing mind blowing, but pleasing to the ears. The second side it really good. Almost hip-hopish in Funksorung's own unique way. Unfortunately I can't really remember anything more about it off the top of my head because I haven't listened to it too much. Email me if you'd like a better discription and I'll try and get back to you tomorrow. Latr Daze, The Dave --- Dave Bloom the_dave@msn.com ANTS IN PANTS!!! ANTS IN PANTS!!! - Tick

Oh this is rich. Funkstorung's "unique" now. Nobody apes Autechre quite like they do, I guess. C. -- Chris.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.org)

Funkstorung's "unique" now. | Nobody apes Autechre quite like they do, I guess. Well, actually yeah, I think that is the case. I find Funkstorung's music incredibly boring, for the above reason. However, now I know what they sound like, I do recognise tracks by them straight away. I think the sounds they use are quite distinctive, it's just the overall tracks still suck quite badly, IMO. I like it (but I don't had to pay import price). If you like the idea of Jazz & fat Hip-Hop beats put together than yes, you'll need to buy it. Both Krush & Kondo a some of the best of their genres.
