I was just playing playing my anvil vapre 12"s today for this first time in
a while. Reminded me about these weird things about my 12"s.
First of all, my "second scout/second scepe" 12" has the same "second
scepe" label on both sides. It also has this haneous high-pitched sqeeling
sound in the background throughout the whole recording that I know isn't
supposed to be there....which, by the way, is pretty damn annoying... esp.
during the quieter moments.
If that wasn't enough... my 12" w/ "second bad vilbel/second peng" came in
the "second scout/second scepe" sleeve as well! what the hell went
wrong?!!!
I've had 'em for a while... didn't get 'em from WarpMart direct. Perhaps
the sleeve thing was some bizarre mixup on behalf of the record shop. who
knows. Are anyone elses 12"s of Anvil Vapre like mine?
What's the Warp quality control policy anyway? can anyone say REPLACE my
fucked up copies w/ fresh ones for free?? ;)
