So I popped down to the Global Cafe on Friday to hear Ed DMX spinning lots of electro/house/80s pop and what sounded like lots of vocal European electro house or something. Quite nice. The guy before him was playing lots of strange stuff from trip-hop to that Beasties single with the robot and Kinesthesia's _Quadrephlex_. Rich was there with his hair cut-off showing some girl that acknowledged bastion of underground electronic music on the WWW, Yahoo.com. Grant W-C was there as well. After Ed they played the Stakker video with the _SAW2_ soundtrack that was nice but the video was boring (lots of flowers opening slowly) and the sound was distorting a bit through the speakers. So I went home and listened to it without the distortion. Then next-day I went and bought the Eletronome on Viewlexx which is some of the best damn electro (veering from the robotic toughness to a more quirky style - much better than the Electronome 12" on Inter-Ferred) I've heard for a while. Check it. Mike Dreds new 12" on Rephlex is kind of electro apparently.
