i just got the commercial release of lp5, and i was wondering if anybody here has tried to remove the white front label: i'd like to remove it in one piece, so that i can re-attach it to the cardboard "inner sleeve". i realize this is close to sacrilege to you "mint copy"-perfectionists, but i feel that the sombreness of the cover is lost with the white sticker still on. btw, should i keep my promo copy? will it be worth someting in the future? probably not, as there's a scratch in the last track (which mostly means that my cd player stalls sometime before it gets to the extra bit). tips on successful sticker removal appriciated! hs _________________________________________________ they're called "instructions" people. read them.

I know it's toxic, but benzine works every time. Should be you unable to buy it (apparently hard to find in the US) then a little lighter fluid dabbed on cotton wool should also do the trick. Don't be tempted to pull the sticker off within moments - wait for it to be completely soaked so that the goo loosens. Generally leaves no marks and is also very useful in cleaning digipaks. I *

WD-40 takes it off no prob. I didn't have any problem with my sticker though. Peeled right off, fully intact. Didn't even leave any stickies on the case. Does anyone want the spare sticker? dilkus
