I picked this item up over the weekend and its worth a listen. Issued as part of the Black Hoodz "dime bag" series, this 10" comes in a zip lock bag. Clever, no? Maybe. The Spectre tracks lean towards zombie-death hip-hop grooves and the DJ Spooky side is more of the scaborous, noisy jungle he's been playing with lately. Attentive listeners will notice judicious use of a Plug sample on one of Spooky's tracks. Also, the new releases section on Brainwashed claims another "official" DJ Spooky 12" is coming out in late August. september 22 apparently the release date for it on geffen/outpost and asphodel on vinyl.and I've seen two different titles for 12" s ....one called "object Unknown" with Kool Keith(on the asphodel site) and the other at brainwashed "Dialogic Ambiguity ep" august 25release for both......hmmmm...maybe asphodel is releasing a single version and outpost is releasing an ep version? spaul
