I'm not sure that's quite true.
Ae did, after all, write a song with Bad Vilbel in the title, and after
visiting that humble little burg north of Frankfurt a.M., I'm not entirely
convinced that there is any link between the retirement-age community and
its bottling plants and the track "Second Bad Vilbel".
Unless there's something in the water system there that makes you think
you're a robotic insect after having a taste; especially one being chased
after this really decrepid, old German who's painted flourescent green.
I never bothered to pick up a bottle of the stuff, so it's a complete
mystery to me.
It's probably best to look at the song title as a last resort, when you
can't figure out an 'ae' track. I think it's maybe a little more rewarding
to use the imagination, anyway.
Tschuss,
Alex

I know that audiences in Montreal were really good the first time Ae came
in Montreal, Ae even composed a song with the name Montreal (on Amber),
because they felt that there was something really special in the city
compared to what they've seen in other cities around north America; maybe
it has changed ...
