after more than a month of listening to this album several times a week,
and after a second time through today, i'm thinking the second-to-latest
atom heart album on his own rather interesting label is among the best
things i've heard this year. the perfect mix of rhythmic abstraction
and pop appeal. very engaging, but also very fucked up. his more recent
_naturalist_ follows up in some interesting ways, but it's just nowhere
near as solid or cohesive as _schnittstelle_. if you buy one atom heart
record this year yadayada...
