I think he released an album on Transmat called "The Theory Of..." or something. I remember buying the single off it, though the name escapes me. Any 313ers care to fill in the facts?

I'm not sure if LA Synthesis is Stacy Pullen or not, but SP did an album as Silent Phase entitled "The Theory of Silent Phase", with accompanying 12" including remixes. It was on Transmat. Cheers, Bill / dj marathon

No, LA Synthesis is by two UK producers. I forget their names offhand (they're not big names) but it's definitely not Stacey Pullen. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

Is this the L.A. Synthesis that Tom Middleton has something to do with, the one that released a 12" on Universal Language/Evolution? Just curious as that 12" has one of the best electro cuts I've heard in a long while ("Harmonic Disassembly"?) and I was wondering if this was worth scoring. Yes Sir, you are right : Harmonic Disassembley is the one on Universal Language, as you say. Although Mr Middleton is not directly involved. ANYTHING by them is *f* brilliant - don't hesitate. These people are hugely underrated. I *

Tom Middleton doesn't really have anothing to do with LA Synthesis, except for being a fan and releasing an LA Synthesis 12" on Universal Language and putting the "Doidy Dawg" track (released on Carl Cox's Ultimatum Breaks label) on his Mixer/Mixmag mix CD. pw In a message dated 6/25/99 9:50:59 AM, Brock.Phillips@mammoth.com writes: <<Is this the L.A.
