apparently the new uncle album (psyence fiction) has a hidden track at the beginning of the cd, you have to rewind from track one to hear it. i was just wondering, are there other cds with that kind of tracks? and how do you discover them? i mean, i usually don't start listening to a cd by rewinding it... hs ______________________________ never explain, never apologize

The first CD to do this was by a sorta metal band called Course of Empire. It was _Initiation_. They just broke up, unfortunately. I hesitate to say this, but they were "intelligent metal". And they were a local band, so I have to give them props. That and their live shows ruled.

I own three: They Might Be Giants - Factory Showroom Various Artists - Chiky(u)u Various Artists - Songs In The Key Of X The last two actually hinted at the rewind track in their respective liner notes. The TMBG disc didn't mention it at all. As for how you discover them, if your CD player takes a split-second longer to find the beginning of a CD in order to play it, it usually means one of two things: the disc has many tracks, or there's something "before the beginning." 99 times in 100 it means the first thing, but you never know... if I hear that delay, I always check. -- Adam J Weitzman NewsEdge Corporation Welcome to my signature. http://www.newsedge.com Please wipe your feet. http://www.newspage.com
