Just picked up:
. Various Artists: Decay Product cd (Chain Reaction) (CRD-03)
It's one of those Metal Case thingys we talked about on the list last
week.
It's nice - I was looking for the Maurizio metal-case CD. I really liked
the Maurizio track on Macro Dub Infection 2 and was looking for more. The
abovementioned CD is actually quite similar, with quietly pounding fast dub
tracks, bordering on ambient sometimes.
Anyone (Lance?) have a artist list for this? it only seems to have titles:
01 no.4 (delayed intro)
02 no. 5 (delayed)
03 no.6 (credit)
04 no.7 (balance)
05 no.3 (debit)
06 Erode
07 Melted
08 Erosion 2
09 Resilient 1.2
10 Erosion 3
BTW, it's easy to get the cds out of these cases:
1) open the case
2) press your right thumb on the center ring of the casso that the metal
pops in (like a safety seal on a baby food jar) This will force the disk off
of the ring slightly.
3) use your index and pointer ingers to pry it off from the edge.
4) to put it back, press the cd snugly and deeply onto the rung until it
snaps. Don't be afraid to go all the way cuz the method above will still get
it off easily.
