I'd fully encourage anyone with a turntable into MoM to pick up "Glam" (Sonig3). I've been told that it's the soundtrack to a movie that never got released, and it does have quite a different feel in places to other stuff by them. Lots more distortion out in front, and a lot of poppy parts slip, a la their Microstoria version on "Reprovisors". More details for anyone who asks. :-) Michael np. "Fishcake: the sound of Thule" (wicked housey techno heading in a BCR direction without being a rip off) "You know what? I'll call him Jet Jaguar..." http://www.vuw.ac.nz/~michael/jj.html Site last updated 15/4/98

just to add... "Glam" comes out DOMESTIC for the U.S. soon, but I don't know what label... and I know there is a Japanese CD out for it, too!

"glam" will be released in the u.s. on thrill jockey next week, vinyl only (rumoured to be printed up in a run of 700 just like the sonig issue?)...also, the thrilljockey site indicates that the MoM "instrumentals" collection has been repressed, only 500, so get 'em while ye can... fyi- a web search turned up that the film 'glam' (which is apparently shelved entirely, not just the mom soundtrack was rejected, as i was originally to belive) starred none other than Mister Tony Danza ;-) oh- and to who ever asked.. if anyone has the two randomiz/werner items you're looking for, it's a-musik, who are officially in charge of all mom related mail order. the kata.log that came with sonig1 is up at http://members.xoom.com/multsanta/mom/ (which is the soon to be home to my new mom site...) or you can search the whole a-musik catalog @ http://www.a-musik.com. np: Aceyalone: 'Arhythamaticulas' (Capitol) - my cutout bin find this week!!! mult santa@no.fi.glove \\ veer nales http://members.xoom.com/multsanta/
