I wouldn't have a problem with the import ban if Nothing actually f8ckin' delivered, not to mention releasing the album on the same date as the UK release. but they haven't. all we from them are empty promises. the Squarepusher catalog? hello? tap tap tap. still waiting. Chiastic Slide? hello? and that was a year and half ago. NO. Nothing has no right (to attempt) to dick us over with some import ban unless they come through on their end of the deal. and they haven't. and I don't care whether it's directly or indirectly their fault. don't try to tinker with the rules when the playing field doesn't even exist. I say f8ck 'em. and I support the continuity argument as well. I've already waited and year and half for this new album, which is acceptable because, well, that's how long it took the sean&rob (or whoever the artist may be) to complete the album, but I'm not gonna wait any longer. it's a global free market, baby, and I'm playing it to the hilt... <bilmalk@enter.net> wrote:

yup. greg@warp told me the same thing, although with sean&rob already being on this side of the Pond, one would figure they'd hit the States right after their Canadian swing, which wraps up mid-August. and the midwest rave calendar lists Ae and Mr. Jenkinson playing SYST3M 666 in Detroit on Halloween. hmmm....<beard stroke> DGeb
