Try out Mr. Bungle's first album, it's self titled and has a picture of a weird clown on it. It's not by any stretch of the imagination technoish, but it's pretty complex and ..uh, intelligent. That is, if your definition of intelligent includes needing to be listened to in it's entirety 3 or 4 times to appreciate the genius. Because it does. (the album, i mean) And if you like that, buy the second album, Disco Volante.. without a doubt one of my all time fav's of any genre, ever.. any other bungle fans here? noah

i owned disco volante for a little while. it certainly was... interesting, but after a while i didn't find myself listening to it so i sold it off. i might be into it more now but there's just too much other good stuff to catch up on. i do consider mike patton a crazed pop music savant & faith no more is one of the few straight-up rock bands that i think are cool. king for a day, fool for a lifetime is a fun album. ethan "don't look at me i'm ugly in the morning..."
