i can tell you first hand because i know both parties involved pretty well that
nothing was "stolen" per se. there was some bad blood, but its all squared away
now. its really a complicated matter actually.
autechre will be working in the future with c.i. so it seems to me that the idea of
theft out of bounds. its one thing to steal a single track, but to continuously steal
release after release goes to show(at least to me) that they have a working
relationship with autechre. also, its one thing to steal a remix, but to steal the
original track as well?
both labels are on the up & up and deserve your support. no-ones trying to hijack
anyone elses stuff. this is as close to fact as i can get

hmm. well, i just heard from someone on the inside that it _is_ true,
but that everyone at chocolate industries and schematic have recently
kissed and made up and everyone's cool about it.
