Please excuse the slightly off topic post, but does anybody know any good schools/colleges/universities/programs in sound/recording engineering? I don't really want to go into *the industry*, I just want to learn for my own pleasure. I also know that someday I'll to have a home studio and want to know what to do with it. I'd prefer for it to be in the USA if possible. Please backchannel all leads to me and not the list. Many thanks in advance, Pedro Cevallos -- http://www.cat.net/~cevallos/ _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. You'd be better off to spend the 20K + you'd spend for your first year at someplace like Berkley and buy your own studio. The few electronic musicians that I've talked to that have attempted the college approach to learning production have been really turned off with the way that the schools try to mold you.
