Just to clarify ( the internet can misrepresent at times ).. I posted my utter shock that Matador is picking up BOC for US release. My shock was genuine but not a critique nor disapproval. It's *great* that they got 'em! I'm just blown away as it is a bold move. Props to them. Blackalicious availability was asked about. On the *retail* end, I dunno. But check out these wholesalers, who dominate the indy Hip Hop game: Fat Beats- NYC BUDS - NYC Sandbox - NYC (? ) Jersey (?) they're an internet Hip Hop source...maybe they sell directly (?) I don't have numbers; look 'em up. Remember, they are wholesalers who probably can't get stuff to your door, but they probably can help you. Good luck! Well, what put em back on the map was that AFX jungle remix of "Dont fear the Reaper", and WagonChrist's timely downtempo jazzy remix of "Godzilla" to be used in the upcoming box-office flop. Right now IM checking out Mike Paradinas' version of "Burnin' for you" but I dunno,.. It gets really crazy in the middle but ends too soon. I wish he'd be more consistent!
