Um, if it was a black box, it wasn't an SU-10, as they are blue, right? I've heard she uses/likes the Yammie QY-10/20/22/700 all-in-one mini sequencers/tone modules...so my guess is that that's what it was...of course the 22 is silver, so it might not have been that. What's this new super-su sequencer sampler thingy someone mentioned Yammie's introducing? Sounds sweet. -jimg -- skoop@slackers.net http://www.slackers.net/~skoop

Err but it wasn't black it was blue, it was an SU-10, or was it? I'm pretty sure when I saw the program I decided it was an SU-10 because it was sampler of some kind and it looked just like one. We've had this all before though, when it was broadcast in the U.K. the same thread came up (and another one about whether she wrote her own music). It being black is one of those adjectives people subconciously use to describe electronic devices they didn't get a proper look at. Enough with the thread As for Pentatonik they do seem to be dead. There was an interview in yesterdays NME with a duo called A1 People one of whom used to be in Pentatonik (can't remember which one). They're doing some sort of electro-ish stuff (although they of course deny it) and have track on a new Hydrogen Dukebox compilation that's coming out soon. Steve.N

i have an A1 People single on Hydrogen Dukebox (reviewed it and others for the next Urb, actually). it's absolutely straight electro - don't see how they can deny it. not bad. 7 out of 10, say.
