thanks for the tips, lance. none of those are the one i'm thinking of, however, so if anyone else remembers seeing this listing (on either bent crayon or rioux's mailout) i'd appreciate you getting in touch. the web track on _pacific state_, "creepy crawly," is amazing. a sort of cross between the best deployment of the rephlex distortomadness thang and the lovely melodies of a solvent or a bochum welt. statements i've read from sugimoto suggest that this track is more representative of his "mature style" (his words) than the "e.v.a. ep." fwiw, sugimoto also records as sammansa, and has released a full-length under that name (_i'm sweet_, also on syzygy). he also has a nice track on the dope technix label (under the name gana). sc onnow: atom heart : schnittstelle (rather interesting)

After a little more research i discovered the cd that sean was inquiring about is: . Taku Sugimoto: Flagments of Paradise CD (Creativeman-JP) I guess it was recently released. I haven't heard it though so i cannot comment on it's content. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

wrong. _Fragments of Paradise_ is an album of improvised guitar music, because Taku Sugimoto is a guitarist (logic. it's a great thing). he's an occasional session player in Ghost. not the same person as Takuya Sugimoto. great album, but think Bailey, MazzaCane-Connors, Gastr del Sol . . Sean's looking for NAGI - Michi (Silverstone 001) available anywhere in the States if you keep your eyes open. you're welcome. :n*r: p: ::: Alice Coltrane - Journey In Satchidananda ::::
