I am offering to give out copies of my new tape "Solenoid 5" to anyone who will send at least a hi-bias 60 min cassette or $2 ($3 overseas) US$. Mix tapes would be a great trade, other people's music would be most ideal. I'd describe the 7 tracks on this tape as being distorted electro-techno with careful production and cutup 80's melodies (using no samples except voice synth) If you are interested, please email your address to me and send tapes or $ to: David Chandler P.O.Box 1564 Portland, OR 97207 If you send longer tapes I may add more experimental tracks. I'm looking to get feedback, trade tapes (pacman and Plod releases are gems in my collection, thanks!), and hook up with more labels, especially ones doing experimental techno, such as the excellent Mego and V/Vm labels. I also have tapes of a mostly-non-rhythmic electronic improv duo I'm in called Office Products if anyone is interested. This music is very fast, linear cutup done completely live to 2-track, involving guitar-synth, turntables (processed), ring mod, contact mics, complex synthesis w/realtime control, and tape. This is not techno, but more akin to Ryoji Ikeda, Christian Marclay, Climax Golden Twins if that is possible. Thanks, David Chandler solenoid@europa.com <------+

Recommend no one pass this up. Have an earlier cassette and its really great! Very much worth the effort! brap@sonic.net /// http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ [V/VM][blackdog] ETC-+/////////// C.Gosselin, 1547 Boston Court #7, Santa Rosa, CA 95405

I, too, will chime in affirmative on this one... I, too, have an earlier Solenoid tape and if the quality has not faded, it should be a treat! !Kev! np: BleepBloop finale (still), Quoth mix =-=-=-=-=- FreyGuy <Everyday is Freyday> Network/Notes Administrator NMB Technologies kevfrey@evansville.net kfrey@nmbtech.com ICQ:4784088 "Like the generation of the revolutionary dead, we have a destiny to create." -Alvin Toffler, The Third Wave
