my friend Gabe made me a mix tape with some Schematic stuff, I really like it. Someone else had mentioned to me that they thought Schematic had gone out of business, on the other hand, the "amazing discog" page says there are two releases coming "soon". Anyone have any info? If this stuff is indeed long gone and all out of print, is there anyone out there who can make me a cdr of the stuff? I've got selected tracks from each release, but I'd love to hear each release in its entirety. (i have some stuff i can offer in return).. thanks andy ajsolomon@wesleyan.edu

Well, I was told the same thing, but it looks like they're releasing stuff. PJ at Modern Music received schematic 3 to schematic 6 last week. sounds like it's probably metic's "sixto novatone". paul lloyd and romulo del castillo are credited on the label, so it's prolly this one. i see how a record shop owner might miss the name of the band or record off the front cover; it's in smallish type. pretty decent record. similar to the phoenecia on warp but a bit noisier and with even less melodic elements. np: boards of canada "triangles and rhombuses" "a dream is worth a thousand pictures, the mouths of lampreys a thousand more..."
