I was in my local music shop today and saw a disc by an artist under the name obo It's on the same label as Amon Tobin's new cd, Cujo. (shadow records) Does anyone know anything about this artist or what it sounds like? This particular disc, while I don't remember the title, had the same style of packaging as the Cujo cd. Obo, I believe, is a part of Red Snapper. I have 2 of his discs....the first (I think it's on Warp) was a bit listless for me, but I really like the one of which you speak. That series on Shadow, infact, is pretty consistent; it's a mix of nice beats, trip hop, d-n-b and often a jaazy edge thrown in.
