I totally agree. haujobb completely blew me away when i first hear them (solutions for a small planet). Since we are on the topic of industrial, I wanted to recommend something that might not fall under IDM, but since Buckethead was being discussed not too long ago, I don;t feel bad. I am talking about Vampire Rodents (yes, I know this is a very silly name). They are hard to describe, their early albums are mostly instrumental, but their newer stuff has more vocals. It is sample based composition, but does not fall anywhere near the Negativland/Antediluvian Rocking Horse kind of sounds. They are very orchestral, lots of strings, horns, cellos, etc. but it is twisted and distorted. They are a little harder sound then most of the stuff talked about on this list, but even though they are on an industrial label (Re-Constriction), they do not sound very industrial (for those of you who are sick of the 4/4, growl. distort voice). Highly recommended, as is haujobb.

i've got a couple of their remixes of other bands, and they're so-so. but i suppose that's cuz it's working with other's material. * #### a disturbance in a system. #### laerm. @voicenet.com #### one time and you're a philosopher; two times and you're a pervert.
