sorry to ask again, but i need verification if the mp3 i received of track 2 from HAB1 (the title track) is supposed to sound like it is skipping around, as if on a CD and skipping. i figure aphex might do something to sound like this, the beats generally continue through the "skip", the "skipping" happens just before a new segment of the song, a guy told me it was on purpose... well, is it or is my mp3 screwed up? the "skip" i am talking about sounds like a rapid pitch shift sometimes, other times like a short burst of static.. c.g .. an annoying message will probably follow. stupid program _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Verified. look at it like andy warhol's trip, he always wanted people to know they were watching a film; richard must want everyone to know he cuts and pastes like the rest of us lazy bastards. on 8 Apr 1998, grav@juno.com wrote: ]sorry to ask again, but i need verification if the mp3 i received of ]track 2 from HAB1 (the title track) is supposed to sound like it is ]skipping around, as if on a CD and skipping. i figure aphex might do ]something to sound like this, the beats generally continue through the ]"skip", the "skipping" happens just before a new segment of the song, a ]guy told me it was on purpose... well, is it or is my mp3 screwed up? the ]"skip" i am talking about sounds like a rapid pitch shift sometimes, ]other times like a short burst of static.. I don't know if it's really screwed up or not, but either way, I've enjoyed listening to it. I just figured it was supposed to be that way. Afterall, I don't see how an mp3 could have been chopped up like that unless the creator of the mp3 did it on purpose. -=Aaron
