Well, to use anothe lamer comarison :) ...
I've seen it compared to Black Dog, I guess that's fair, but it's more
minimal. In parts it reminds me of Theorem's Ion. Rough Trade obviously
think it belongs in that category, they have filed it along with Chain
Reaction. But it doesn't totally belong there either. Interesting rhythms, a
couple of the tracks have breakbeats, other's have a more techno feel.
Mostly the tracks have simple but very pleasant melodies.
It's got nice packaging too, except all the track names are in morse code
which looks nice but is kind of hard to read. It comes with a booklet of
photos which is pretty cool, lot's of buildings and highways at night, that
sort of thing.
BTW, I think you will like it, Kelley, I would definitely recommend it to
you.
