Hey, I have a copy of WAP 1 lying about. Not that I want to sell it or anything, but I've always wondered if it was worth anything... Anyone have any idea?

Some label called "Hubba Hubba" re-released the b-side to that ("Shall We...") plus some 3 other (weird b-sides?) Robert Gordon tracks recently. I really like Gordon's programming style. I think he engineered on most of the 80's Hula tracks, and this was his connection to the early Fon studios (Hula=Chakk) ...from which early Warp recording/mastering seems to have started. Old WARP 12"s don't appear very often, but prices are not unnecessarily elevated when they do surface. About 6 quid would be about right unless you stumbled upon someone particularly keen to own it. This stuff does not generally seem to be established as "collectible" so second hand shops, record fairs just aren't stocking them - so my WARP wants list which consists of a handful of old CD singles, seems to be impossible to fulfil. well that's what seems to be going on anyway J ^ Steady J aka James Skilton steady-j@geocities.com Autechre & SKAM discogs @ http://subnet.virtual-pc.com/~sk393820 "I don' have any idea 'bout what's going on..."
