Your double mix cd, which is just released contains a lot of 'newer tunes'
on it, but also things from i.e. Joe Henderson and Herbie Hancock. Is this
just a selection of your own personal favorites or is there any message in
the selection?
"A bit of both - the old tracks are amongst my personal favourites but I
like to think the spirit of jazz from the mid-60's to the early 70's lives on
through my music and through the label. The boundaries these guys
crossed are at the very limits of the expressable in music."
