quoted 2 lines anything on the mighty Dillinja. And anyway, does 3/4's brilliance and>anything on the mighty Dillinja. And anyway, does 3/4's brilliance and >1/4 very dissapointing make for a really good LP? I don't know...
Hells yes. I own... let's see... 6 records with that percentage of brilliance (Einsturzende Neubauten - Drawings of a Patient OT, Nurse with Wound - Sylvie and Babs, Codeine - the white birch, Black Moon - Enta Da Stage, Igor Stravinsky - Rite of Spring/Petrouchka, Skinny Puppy - Last Rights (sadly the only worthwhile skinny puppy record... with a name like that it's hard to be surprised), The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour (just barely), if anyone cares.) I'm probably forgetting a couple, but not many (as far as I'm concerned, any percentage of true brilliance makes it a great record. Something like My Bloody Valentine's Loveless really only has 2 brilliant songs (to here knows when and soon) but it's probably one of the best records ever put out). --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto
