anyone know anything about ed rush? i dont have much/like much d+b, and try to stay about from the swoowshy ltj bukem type stuff, especially w/vocals, and the crappy lame-o liquid sky(jungle sky) type stuff. all that ive heard, that i like , is plug, squarepusher, and panacea, so i guess i like more "intelligent" d+b thats either dark or more raw/experiemental sounding(i love alecempire)...id probably like jazzy d+b if i heard it. i like panacea though, and somone had recommended ed rushin reference to it being similar. good comparison? info/insight? anyone got any cds they want to trade? or maybe trade dubs etc? thanks andy ps,other "intelligent" dark, melodic, non cheesy d+b recommendations ould be appreciated, especially on cd(i know i know most of the good stuff is on vinyl, i can't afford to start buying vinyl though, not to mention have it shipped to me....) ajsolomon@wesleyan.edu

T Power!!! Try and find a copy of his debut album, "Self Evident Truths of an Intuitive Mind" or, his second (and much more experimental) full-length, "Waveform." Both are excellent. Both are on SOUR records from UK. Aaron

I've got Torque (No U-Turn) and I like it. It's not what you would call 'intelligent' but it is quite dark. It is extremely danceable: I've seen people who normally dance to 4-to-the-floor stuff going nuts on Torque. ------------------------------------------------------- Mathias Verraes ET.phone.home@ThePentagon.com Aequalitas haud parit bellum -------------------------------------------------------

Torque is OK but I get tired of it quickly. Check out http://www.betalounge.com . There's an Ed Rush set in the ReMix section which I think is better than the Torque CD. -Michael
