Does anybody have knowledge of any Paul Smith recordings since or apart from the four wonderful 12"ers on LikeMind? Any information would be appreciated... Xen0phyle "I have often observed that a door unlocks much more nicely with its own key." - Lewis Carroll 93/93 np: Nuron - Eau Rouge (Likemind)

While this doesn't completely answer your question, Steve Pickton recently told me not to expect any more releases on Likemind. -arjun

Unfortunately not. There were two Paul Smith tracks on two 1996 comps but nothing aside from those. Those two tracks were on the Kudos "Types" comp and one of the Freezone comps, two or three. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

That is really really weird....i just sent a message to the list asking the *exact* same question...then i look at my inbox and theirs a big discussion about nuron suddenly going on (before i'd sent my post)... telepathy or something??? i mean how the hell can that happen? i could've asked about any artist i'd been wondering about but it happened to be nuron.... i dunno....this universe....freaks me out sometimes. -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/

Just like Ben's musings on synchronicity, I too have just had a similar experience. I'd JUST brought home the Mark Broom remix EP of Angie... (Ae, Jega & PWog mixes) and did the hackneyed "what speed shall I play this on" thang, before decicively plumping for 45. Then I sprawl down with JockeySlut (bought at the same shop and while the vinyl's spinning) and read the following review: "Crackin' set of remixes [etc...] 'Funked Up' sounds cool at the 'wrong speed' ". Heh :-) I * np : Autechre - Any no. between 1&17
