OK kids, I've heard no talk of this record on this list, but the reviews
are making me itch. I brought it up before, but no one rose to the bait.
The 12" in question is the new release by Air Liquide called "Uludag" on
Blue Planet. I haven't heard any Air Liquide stuff before, but the review
I read said this was a "sci-fi soundtrack for electro beatheads and
Bladerunner fans alike." That sounds damn good...anyone picked this up
yet? Comparisons/thoughts/reviews greatly appreciated.
Off on another tangent - quality NEW hip hop. I've only recently been
checking this stuff out, before I was strictly old school. But the latest
releases on Rawkus (Mos Def, Reflection Eternal) and Jazz Fudge are
perking my ears. Can anyone offer advice on other labels/releases/artists
worth a look? Thanx in advance...
