I don't like to take private affairs public but sometimes it's the only way. Unless the good fellow whom I trusted enough to send my Slim Westerns CD contacts me with reassurance that I will indeed be getting his package very very soon, his name will appear the next time I post this complaint. It has been over two weeks. No word, nothing. Consider yourself warned. Charlie James Down here in Arkansas

Y'know, it seems to me that people who are the recipients of others money or goods in sale/trade deals would know enough to keep the others informed. It's a bit of a pain to have sent out whatever in faith and then have to sit and wait for the recipient to get off of his/her duff and at least inform the sending party that they have whatever was sent and will be sending whatever out whenever, don'tcha think? Sometimes it's really not worth the frustration - the frustration and guessing is much more *expensive* than the cost of what you're dealing for, usually. Get a clue, people - be ethical and timely when doing deals over the net. (ambles down from soapbox, looks about sheepishly and hobbles off "...with wandering steps and slow...") jeff

Thanks to all those who responded to my post, publicly and privately. I was successful in crowbarring a response and a promise from said trader. He admitted to being lazy. All this extra e-mailing and threatening is a hassle that really sours a deal. The good traders still make it all worthwhile though, Thanks again, Charlie James
