I can give a micro-capsule review as I bought the John Oswald/Oval remix P5 12" this week. The John Oswald piece consists of a live jazz drummer spazzing out over P5 loops (can't remember the name of the cut). I was expecting Plunderphonics so the free jazz thing was a nice surprise. The Oval remix begins with floating ambient noises and eventually morphs into a melodic but distorted sound loop. I doubt that the other remixes are this exploratory.
