Went to a head shop near here last weekend and happend to come across a
James Brown 12" from 1988 or 87 which featured a mix by Jon Black and More
but not under the name Coldcut. Is this mix worth it? It was only like $4.
Also did anyone check out Alex Gopher's Gordini Mix 2x12"? Unmissible
mixes by Air and Bang Bang.
Speaking of things French, there's an article about the French scene in the
newest ish of Spin (one with Eric Cartman on the cover). Not bad although
too much about Daft Punk. Not enough about Super Discount or Etienne de
Crecy. Oh well at least they're learning. Check out that little thing on
Drill 'n Bass, supposedly it's not hip to be Squarepusher and it's
"Unabashed dorkiness..."
