has anyone else out there picked this up? i noticed disc 2 is supposed to have 12 tracks according to the liner notes, yet my cd only goes up to 11. track 11 is supposed to be friend and elton, track 12 is supposed to be spodfellas... i'm pretty sure the real track 11 is spodfellas because it sounds like ed plummer and dun gulberry. WHERE IS THIS FRIEND TRACK?! -mc

It's there as track 10. The track that's missing is from about halfway through the 2nd disc. The artist name is Friends And Family or something like that (sorry, I don't have the disc here with me). I've been emailing with the guys at Blue Planet about it. Apparently it was a fuck-up by the manufacturers who've made it up to them by giving them a big discount on this pressing and the one to follow since it was too late to do a repressing of all 3000 copies before shipping. They also told me that four of the tracks from the comp, including Plug & Paradinas, are going to be pressed up on a vinyl EP. Greg

ah... so the SHADOW RECORDS U.S. version (that will eventually come out, since they released #1) will not have that problem? great! np: alien sex fiend - hee haw ----------------------------------------------------------------- Karaoke Kalk visual discography http://members.aol.com/volumunits/karaoke_kalk.html -----------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I wouldn't totally count on a Shadow release for this since they tend to do their licsences on a one-off basis. And while it's true that any potential Shadow version may not include this pressing error, they've been known to fuck around with track listings and such on liscenced stuff before. Anyway, even with the one track missing, it's still a pretty solid comp. A couple of stinky hip hop joints early on, but by the end, it's pure sweetness. Greg
