Daniel Ibbotson released an album and two (?) 12"s on Reel, which was a house-related imprint of Clear records, and has since released two albums (plus singles) on Glasgow Underground, another house label. People have said very favourable things about that first album on Reel (go digging in the IDM search engine, I guess) but I reckon most of his stuff is quite different from the above Friend & Dr Kosmos mix. For a start, a lot of it's house. :-) I'm a bit luke warm on his stuff myself (but in full agreement on that remix!) so I'd say do check him out, but make sure you know what you're getting before buying. The first single on clear is on a bit of a different journey compared to the other material..
