Big ups to Ae & Warp for the audio treat that was Ae Radio. I was particularly impressed with the one track that started off as a minimal hip-hop joint and mutated into some kind of funky breakbeat track. Excellent stuff!!! GD

That's a big mutation. What would be really impressive is if they had played a track that fused dub and....reggae. ja mon. Go on. I love Ae, but what do the above sentences mean? matt

I meant: Hip Hop = slow Breakbeat = fast (i.e. d&b, jungle, etc.) Don't be a genre twat. Last time I checked a fair number people call all jungle/d&b music 'breakbeat' - do you think the 'Breaks' list discusses the newest rap releases? Go to http://www.breaks.com/breaksinfo.html for some definitions. Call it triplet-eighth jungle @ 130 bpm if you wish, the amazing part is the jazzy programming. GD
