Guitars have a habit of being difficult to sync... There are plenty of parts that would be difficult to play any other way. Froese used guitars well in the early TD recordings. Bass guitar is prevalent in a lot of dub/idm. It's an attitude to cite fear of cliche playing 'cause keyboardists tend to play similar configurations from pattern and 'hand' limitations... Stringed instruments can take longer to become fluent with. Alright you keyboardists- flame on! :-) -Jefferson
