Given his Jake Slazenger albums, Salsa with Mesquite, etc, which actually
are mostly shit, he should hardly slag DMX Krew. When Ed DMX isn't being
very funny, his music is pretty good. The quality of Sound of the Street,
musically, is better than Fresh, but Fresh is a great album. On the other
hand, both Groovybeat and Makesaracket contain songs that are far better
than anything DMX could do- but the average quality of both is pretty
poor, and I no longer enjoy listening to either.
