I'd say 45rpm pretty much for definite, even though on the A-Side this puts the tempo at close to normal house tempo, which Ae tend to steer pretty clear of now. Just doesn't sound right at 33rpm though. gb.

That's odd, 'cos when I play it at 45 on my decks, it sounds pretty much identical to the CD version. I guess someones turntable must be jacked. 45 sounds fine for the first 3 tracks, but to get the best results for Krib & Tilapia, I like to fiddle about with the turntable settings so it can play at a speed in between 33 & 45. I find 33+8 is too slow and 45-8 is too fast. Dan Shoebridge np: Journey by DJ - Coldcut

yes... someone's turntable is most definitely jacked. I listened as well to both the CD and the vinyl, and they're the same speed at 45+-0% __ __\ \ / /_\ \ \_____/ www.freq-div.home.ml.org

uhm, i don't want to start a big argument BUT i tryed my 12" on my THREE different 1200s, and thorens, AND the turntables at a club, and on all 6 tables, it was too fast on 45. so somebodies turntable isn't jacked, it seems more like my copy of cichilsuite is... im not upset, i just wanted to state that it isn't the tables but the vinyl. hey, it's limited, rare, and it's up for auction starting at 185 dollars!! :) -kiya np:paul teebrook-connections (op-art)
