yes, this is a problem. i can tell you all that hyperreal.org
has not sold off any of it's email lists. that goes against
everything that hyperreal stands for. also, i recieved the
subscription to an address i have that is not subbed to any
hyperreal lists. the possibility that there is someone on idm
that has been collecting email addresses and adding them to
their own lists does exist...that we have no control over. :(
however, those of you who have been subscribed to this
soundsundergound list might want to check some of the
other lists your on. i know that there are a good number
of idm-ers on the [minimalism] list on onelist...so that
may be an issue as well.
sorry that many of you have been spammed against your
will, but as far as hyperreal giving out address...won't happen.
i'd be interested in finding out how we have all been getting
signed onto this list...if you have any information, please
email me privately...
