Two new 12"s I got recently that I liked
(compared to the four dozen that I didn't):
Ian O'Brien: Heartstrings
Ian has still got it. Not much more to say.
B2 is an absolute heart warmer. Keep at it, O'B!
Isolee: Beau Mot Plage (Freeform Remixes)
Is this _that_ Freeform? Simon Pyke? If so, his talent
is remixing, because I haven't liked a single 12" of his
to date but I loved these Isolee remixes. Adds a nice,
quirky dimension to this punchy tech-house monster
from Isolee (a track almost as good as "I Owe You").
Well worth checking out.
And am still liking the stuff Monolake (new 12" on their
label is fantastic!), Arovane, Vladislav Delay and Thomas
Brinkmann (mainly the Ernst label) are doing.
