Well, not one single girl down Metalheadz would agree with you on that one, dats for sure! ohhhhh man! Have you ever seen Goldie close up? He has one of the most gorgeous, hardcore bods around! Have you ever danced with him? Have you ever talked to him? Have you ever been down Metalheadz at the Blue Note on a Sunday night where Goldie's gettin deep in on the dancefloor with the rest of us, huggin everyone who's sharin it, gettin deep in and lost to some of the fiercest, darkest, lushest soundz around? Everyone in da house LOVES this man, has immense respect for him, he is one beautiful, special man, one well tasty geeezer ... fierce and hardcore but with one huuuuge, huuuuge heart ... if you're not into his music, fair enuff man ... each to their own ... but don't diss any person you haven't had the priviledge of meeting by calling them a "Waste of a human being"! We were all down Metalheadz on Sunday night and missed Goldie not being there ... the Blue Note just feels electric whenever he's there ... his energy just reaches out to everyone ... Now that Goldie and Rob Playford have split, anyone have any guesses as to who Goldie will trick into making "his" records for him? (The Muzik piece on the subject stated that 'Saturnzreturn' was completed with Optical and Dillinja "engineering," so I guess they're the frontrunners.) Or could it be possible that Goldie will finally make a record all by himself? Anyhoo... for those who might care about such things, I've just returned home from the studios of CIUT Radio where I presented a special edition of Feedback Monitor featuring some of my favourite non-Canadian[1] singles and EPs of 1997 excluding releases on Dot[2].
