Hello, i was wondering if this is worth picking up:
quoted 17 lines Malcolm McLaren: The Largest Movie House In Paris> Malcolm McLaren: The Largest Movie House In Paris > [1996] remix album > > [Previously appeared as disc 2 of 2CD versions of Paris album.] > > 2x12": 1995 US (No!Gee St./Island; PRLP 6962-1) [promo; stickered black slv] > 4:39 Paris Un > 4:02 Paris Deux > 9:43 Paris Trois > 3:35 Paris Quatre > 3:38 Paris Cinq > 4:26 Paris Six > 6:20 Paris Sept > 4:11 Paris Huit > ["The Largest Movie House In Paris - Limited Edition Double LP > Featuring Remixes From Malcolm McLaren's PARIS"] >
how is this compared to "paris" (i mean, i like paris, and any other McLaren record, for that matter), i saw two copies for $10 each, but no option to listen before buy. So maybe some one can tell me a bit about his record. thanks, Collin ps, discography excerpt pasted from Lazlo's Malcolm McLaren discography

Right. The double-CD set is probably the better deal, unless you're a vinylmonger. As for content: (Personal opinion) - these remixes are far superior to the originals. Does away with the McLaren voiceover. Predominantly instrumental, ranging from ethno-house to jazzy to funk. Quite unique and enjoyable. 3
