Does anyone on the list have any experience with bass music? A recent issue of Grand Royal magazine has a pretty lengthy history, and though I haven't read it yet, I should have it in my hands later today. There must be a lot of shit out there, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some quality artists as well (DJ Magic Mike, The 45 King...) Opinions? Recommendations? Denouncements? Gushing Praise? ---------- TooMuchBooty(ForDaPants) ----------- JohnBush.

Still no replys to this question? Here goes- The Grand Royal issue is great- start there for an adventure into a genre of electronic music that is not afraid of the funk and get's it's groove own down LOW! Suggestions- DEFinately go for Egyptian Lover, Gucci Crew, and 2 Live Crew. Many props to Luke's drum programming- I am serious about this, check it out if you don't beleive me or if you disagree! Both So So Def comps are great and with all of these suggestions and Grand Royale you'll be shoutin props to the Florida and Atlanta scene in no time. Just ask LFO.
