ok fellers... I figured this might be a good place to ask for an

opinion.
I am on a Mac and am only interested in Mac answers.
I am surrently using Logic Audio, and am wondering whether to upgrade to
the
latest version, or go with MOTU's digital performer.
What kind of learning curve hit would I take in learning a new program?
is DP any better than LA?
I like DP's MTS in how it talks to MOTU MIDI interfaces, LA has a
similar
thing (AMT) that supposedly(according to MOTU marketing literature)
isn't as
good. This feature is my main reason for
considering the switch. Also I am concerned about compatibility as I
may
want to get a MOTU 2408 audio thingy someday. How does it work with
LA??
LA does VST plugins and DP doesn't, right? are there
any DP plugins around???
Any advice???
