The Aphex Twin video compilation 'Come To Viddy' was released on 1
December 1997. It compiles 3 Aphex videos. The first being 'On' which was
originally released in November 1993 and co-directed by Pulp's Jarvis
Cocker and Martin Wallace. The second video 'Donkey Rhubarb' was originally
released in August 1995 and directed by David Slade. This video introduced
us to the 10 foot day glo dancing bears seen in Richard's live stage shows.
The final video, prompting this release. is 'Come To Daddy' which was
released in October of this year with the single charting at no 36. The video
was directed by Chris Cunningham who also directed Autechre's Second Bad
Vilbel video and who has worked on Alien 3 and 4, drawn Judge Dredd for
2000AD and worked on the special effects for the film and worked with
Stanley Kubrick on his sci fi project A.I.
